Our Work:
Orphaned Animals
We work as a sub-permittee with our local Wildlife Rehabilitation facility, Centre Wildlife Care, to expand their ability to accept orphaned animals by bringing raccoons here to be raised until ready for release. Raccoons are a rabies vector species and they have specialized needs that require dedicated housing and space, so by taking raccoons for CWC, they can help more animals!
Compromised Animals
Some animals are too compromised to be successfully released after rehabilitation. That is when Wilds comes to the aid. We accept unreleasable animals to give them the best life possible and the best part, these animals become "education ambassadors" and are available for programming.
Program Opportunities
Our ambassadors are available for programs at your facility, or you can make an appointment to visit all of them here at the Wilds facility! The program fees are 100% dedicated to their care! Yes, 100% of our program fees are used for direct care from housing, to food, to enrichment activities. And your donation is tax-deductible!
